Tin Can PC Game 2020 Overview:
Very cool survival simulation in an escape capsule alone somewhere in orbit … The goal is to survive as long as possible …
The only thing that helps is your understanding and a small manual in which all modules, but also error codes are explained (printed out next to us). Around one a small escape pod with some displays and switches. You quickly learn that you have to replace the O2 and CO2 cylinders regularly before you suffocate. The air filters must also be cleaned regularly. But you notice that in good time when Master Warning and Master Caution start to get on your nerves. The temperature, power consumption and gravity must also be kept in mind.
All components and systems are somehow related. If all systems are in normal operation, everything is ok. But even the first asteroid field gives you a lot of trouble. we don’t even want to talk about ice fog or an electrostatic cloud … we’m lucky if only one small switch is broken, just replace it and go on. If larger components break, they can be repaired, but this requires a correspondingly large amount of electricity. A look at the generator output helps to make a decision, as well as when it comes to light. Emergency lighting uses less electricity than full lighting. Luckily we have a flashlight with us.
The game is great fun and can also be played in so-called party mode, similar to “Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes” – one is in the capsule, the other has the manual. Very exciting!
